The Doctrine

from The Doctrine - Single by HMage

about

Luna took over — industry and prosperity and renaissance in technology and medicine — for everyone.

Everyone with money — you can get magic by installing manufacured horn, you can fly if you get wings, you can enhance anything, but every time you do that, you feel like you're giving some part of you away forever.

And you're part-machine as well by now — to perform better. And sometimes you wish you didn't do that.

Hopes and dreams clash with reality — rough lifeless technology and slowly but surely crushes them.

Sometimes it feels like you don't have anything left of you but hopes and dreams, so you cling to them as you slowly become part of a bigger machine.
